Time Synchronization in Link Master Analysis (LMA).

In this article, we will be looking at how to use time synchronization to cross-compare data sets you're looking at in Link Master Analysis (LMA).

Prerequisites

Before proceeding, please launch LMA and load in log files (containing your measures) that you can work with as you read through this tutorial.

Time Synchronization in LMA

Turn on auto sync. You'll find the Synchronization toggle for this below your Workspace area listing the log files available and above the parameters list.

Let's say that we create a Map using our RSRP data. You can create your data displays by right-clicking on the parameter and selecting the option you'd like.

Let's also create a Grid for the same data.

Finally, let's go to Call Test Call Result and create a Grid for this parameter as well.

So now, we have three different views open.

Notice that, if you highlight a data point in one graph, the corresponding data points in the other displays get highlighted as well.

Once you've selected all your data, right-click anywhere in LMA and select Send to Time Graph.

Here's the time graph view.

To make it easier to see all of your displays, go to Window > Tile Vertically.

This lines up your displays and makes it easier to cross-reference them.

Now, as you click on a data point on your time graph, all your other graphs will sync and display the corresponding data.

At this point, let's add in our log view. To do so, we can right-click on any of the LogFiles listed in our workspace and selecting Log View.

Select your LogFiles and click OK to add.

To tidy up our workspace, let's close out the left-hand navigation panel using the X at the top right and set out windows to tile vertically again.

Notice that as you click on a specific data point, you'll be able to see the corresponding data, which allows you to analyze things from multiple perspectives.
