Sentinel: Can't Read Fingerprint
In this article, we'll cover what you need to do if you get an Error: Can't read fingerprint error when trying to install a Link Master license from either the license server or from our website.
First, you will need to uninstall the Sentinel driver. You can do this by navigating to the LM directory inside of the Link Master LML directory.
Launch (by double clicking on) LM_Driver_Remove that's located within the LM directory.
This loads a command window. You'll see the program remove the old files, and when the program is finished, it'll close out of the command window by itself.
Returning to the LM folder (you should still have it open on your desktop), double click to run LM_Driver_Install.
The application will open another command window, install the necessary files, and close the command window when it finishes.
At this point, you're ready to attempt to load your Link Master license again.
