How to use rerouting in LMA

This is a video version of this article

In Link Master Analysis (LMA), the rerouting tool lets you change the location of data points in a test after the fact. For example, this is a test done in downtown Chicago where the skyscrapers interfered with the GPS signal, leading to a meandering test path. Using the rerouting tool, we can shift these data points to align with the street grid, correcting for the issue.

To open the rerouting tool, left click on the map and select Repositioning>Rerouting I. Make sure that the sync button is also selected.

The following buttons will appear at the top. These four buttons will allow you to move the traces to the correct locations

To move the traces, click on the first data point, select the Move Trace button, and click on the location you want to move the data point. Then, repeat this process for all of the data points. When you finish, the map should look like this.

When you are done making changes, select Apply to Traces and watch the map correct itself!
