In this article, we will show you how to:
Go to the Settings area of your phone (this is done slightly differently on each type of phone, so if you have any issues, please consult your phone's manufacturer for assistance). Scroll through your options, and find the About device option.
In the About device area, find your build number.
Tap your build number seven times. This turns on Developer Mode. If you were successful, you'll see a pop-up message saying Developer mode has been turned on (or something similar).
Return to the previous menu (the Settings menu). You'll now see that you have Developer options.
You'll see the following menu once you click on Developer options. Make sure that developer mode is turned On.
You'll also need to make sure that USB debugging is On.
At this point, you're ready to plug your phone into your laptop.
If you haven't already, launch LinkMaster and go to the Port Settings.
Make sure that ADB is loaded.
Click OK to exit the Port Settings dialog window.
At this point, we'll need to get the RSA key. To do so, simply unplug your phone and then plug it in again. You'll see the following pop up:
Check the box next to Always allow from this computer, and click OK to proceed. This establishes the link between your phone and your laptop.
At this point, you'll need to install RMA. To do so, return to LinkMaster, and go to Control > RMA Setting.
You'll see the following message, which just indicates that you're running an outdated version of RMA on your phone. Go ahead and close out of the warning message.
To install the version you need, click the check box next to Channel 1, which is currently associated with your device.
Click Install RMA at the bottom of the RMA Install & Execute window.
At this point, LinkMaster will push RMA out to your phone. If RMA installs correctly on your phone, you'll see the following success message:
At this point, you have access to the Run RMA button. Clicking on this restarts RMA on the phone.
You'll also see at the bottom left of LinkMaster a green A. This indicates that the Android app is running.
That's all there is to installing ADB and RMA!
