Error Message -- "Audio Device Error: Could not open WAV device ..."

The following error might be generated when Link Master is not able to communicate with the AIM device.

In this case, the problem is the Windows operating system is not able to properly find the audio device that is used by Link Master.  

To clear the error, you can try several different steps to restore operating system communication with the audio driver.

1. Reboot the AIM.  simply remove the power from the AIM, wait a few seconds, and then plug the unit back in.

2. Reboot the laptop.  Unplug all devices and reboot laptop.  After power cycle, then plug in each AIM/phone combination and verify that the audio drivers are installed properly in the Device Manager

3. Uninstall and then re-install the Windows audio driver.
