Showing background maps in LMA

Can you please tell me how to load a map file/connect to online Maps for use with LMA?

At the moment, if I open up a ‘Map’ window, I can see the test route for the files I am looking at but the background is blank:

From the map window, right click and select “Manual refresh”:
